Thank goodness for Ode Magazine. With the mission of telling stories about real people making positive change in the world, each piece posted to its website earns scores of thankful acknowledgements from readers around the globe. Editor Jurrian Kamp boldly states that each contribution is well researched, well written and inspiring. Do you agree?
This week’s main website feature was written by Kamp, and is entitled, “Look at the bright side.” Drawing from editorials from Psychologies magazine in France, and Balanced Living and Fast Company in the U.S., he delineates the differences between optimism and idealism, emphasizes that it’s possible to learn to practice “intelligent optimism” — and concludes that focusing on the positive makes the world a better place for all of us, individually and collectively.
Lots of actionable potential posts for this space made my shortlist for today… but this one takes the prize.
