Brilliant directors: Peter Lang

The earliest academic ambitions for Pictures in a Row (Picrow) principal, director, cinematographer and screenwriter Peter Lang took root in his passion for architecture.

As a Harvard student, he found the perfect application for his far-reaching creative aspirations within the cinematic arts. After graduating, he honed his skills as a photographer, painter, documentary filmmaker and architectural scholar… all while making musical waves with a Les Paul gold-top and some very noteworthy American bands. He eventually brought these interests and experiences to bear in launching Picrow in Hollywood in 1995, establishing the renowned creative and production environment where directors and artists stretch their imaginations and their skillsets.

Always focused on distilling messages in ways that rivet audiences, Peter has earned a reputation for crafting emotional cinematic content that is uniquely powerful. Dedicated to the creation of iconic images and stories captured on picturesque locations or on green-screen in a soundstage, the dynamic Picrow culture is coming to light through a roster of immense talents realizing bold, momentous visions for brands, entertainers and world class creative agencies.
