Experience the 2021 World Wildlife Day Film Showcase on 3 March

DWA principal Roger Darnell had the great honor of serving as a judge for the 2021 World Wildlife Day Film Showcase: Forests. “It is a wonderful feeling,” he said, “knowing that so many gifted storytellers and supporting organizations are dedicated to informing and educating the world on the importance of forests and conservation.”

Jackson Wild, the Secretariat of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) are thrilled to announce the finalists of the World Wildlife Day Film Showcase: Forests. This year was a record-setting showcase, with over 275 films entered from all over the world. A special thank you to all those who screened approximately 750 hours of film collectively to select the finalists.

On behalf of the CITES Secretariat, UNDP, Jackson Wild and supporting organizations, you are invited to join this annual celebration of World Wildlife Day. It will take place virtually on Wednesday, 3 March, from 8-11 a.m. Eastern time, with the theme of Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet.
